The life of Jesus seems pretty condensed; but this is an overview lesson. Events are mentioned, but not discussed in detail. Some are in more detail in other lessons like John or Peter. This can be taught in one lesson, but two would give more time for discussion.

Jonah's Life

Everything we know about the prophet Jonah is found in the book of Jonah. He disobeyed God by not going to Nineveh and he was thrown into the sea when they realized the storm was because of Jonah. God created a great or huge fish to swallow him. We are not told what kind of fish. Jonah obeyed God and preached in Nineveh.

Shadrach, Meshach & Abed-Nego's Life

Although this lesson discusses Daniel with Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, he is only mentioned in the events that he is with his friends. The students will study how they arrived in Babylon, the food they wanted to eat, their refusal to bow down to the king’s statue and the fiery furnace.
