Moses Leaves Egypt

This Old Testament study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for the lesson. Most of these lessons have project printables for younger students that I have been wanting to add for some time.

All of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and most are in black & white.

Kids love using these education/instruction pocket cubes for games. Print the cube squares and cut. Insert into the slots and a fun learning game is ready! It is worth the initial investment, and you can create pictures, questions, or whatever you can think of to use these. You can find them at Amazon, Carson Dellosa, eBay, Dollar stores, teacher supply stores, etc. Or you can print the cube template. Cut around the outside, fold on all the lines and tape/glue the tabs to the inside to make a cube. If you want to reuse, insert a box, foam, etc. to the inside and this will help it keep its shape.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The Spinner will work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The first worksheet is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. Next is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The third was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next is a word search and find the differences. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet. The review worksheet has been updated. The Write it out! has three pictures that the student will write about to describe what happened to Moses. The thought question can be used before the lesson as an introduction, or after the lesson as a discussion starter.

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
