This Old Testament study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for the lesson. Most of these lessons have project printables for younger students that I have been wanting to add for some time.

All of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and most are in black & white.

The 3-D scene is super easy to prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too! Color and black & white are both included.

To create the 3-D scene,

1. Print on paper or cardstock, although cardstock works better.

2. Fold the paper in half.

3. Cut on black dotted lines on each side of the pit. Cut on black dotted line to cut Joseph away from the scene.

4.  Fold bottom of scene forward on gray solid line. Fold forward on top line. Fold backward on the inside line.

5. Cut Joseph on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The Flip Book and Spinner work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The first worksheet is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. There is a colorful coat color-by-number. The next worksheet was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher.   There is a Who did it? worksheet with a description for each person. The students will cut out the people and glue them to the correct description. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet. The picture review worksheet has been updated. The write it out has three pictures and the students will write about each event. The thought question can be used before the lesson as an introduction, or afterwards to be a discussion starter about how to treat our family.

Let all that you do be done with love. 1 Corinthians 16:14

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the poster, banner, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark. The poster includes color and black & white.

These updated visuals are all the visuals for Genesis 37 and include Joseph receiving his coat, his dreams and his brothers selling him. All are not shown.
(These are not included in the application pack.)

(These are the same as the visuals but are black & white.)
