Thank you to Jeanne Dickson for permission to copy (as close as possible with the resources I have available) and share these ideas, pictures and printables!

It doesn't get more hands-on than this! Gather up kid's tools and blocks for them to build!

Another fun note, Jeanne added phrases for Google Translate to interpret the words and phrases out loud, which the students had fun with! Directions can be found here.

Jeanne said she used all one hundred of the Gigi bloks to build this tower! The cloud scriptures printables are included in the download.

Jeanne's notes: The diorama visual aid for this lesson was made from a box that stationary came in. The top and bottom is attached together and covered with paper from a wallpaper sample book. Jeanne’s mother picked a bunch of these up (for free) from a store years ago and they still come in handy from time to time.

The inside of the box is 3-D. Jeanne used construction paper for the blue background and green grass and cotton balls for the clouds. The tower is glued to the grass but has a paper ring behind it attaching it to the sky, so that it stands up and out, when the box is opened. The people were printed on salmon colored construction paper and are made to stand up, but generally have to be straightened back out before they do.

These are the printables included to recreate the diorama. Or they can be used as cut and glue to create-a-scene. Both have black & white included.

This was designed for a 5.2 oz. can of Pringles but can be cut down for smaller cans. Students can draw the bricks if you prefer. This is a black & white printable and can be printed on color paper, or students can color it and design their own. Add cotton (or cotton batting) to the top for the clouds.

The Newsletter Foldable can be used as a review handout, sent in the mail or in an email, especially for those unable to be in class. The same lesson is included for the teacher.

This is the inside with the lesson and pictures. On the outside, Jeanne adds notes and assorted items. She might add a Bible verse, memory verse, a Bible song or two, a picture to color, a reward reminder and/or notes about class and hello to students. You could add a puzzle, maze, worksheet, whatever you prefer.
