This Old Testament study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for the lesson. Most of these lessons have project printables for younger students that I have been wanting to add for some time.

All of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and most are in black & white.

The 3-D scene is super easy to prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too!

To create the 3-D scene:

1. Print on paper or cardstock, although cardstock works better.

2. Fold the paper in half.

3. Cut on black dotted lines on each side of the ark.

4.  Fold bottom of scene forward on gray solid line. Fold forward on top line. Fold backward on the inside line.

5. Cut the animals on the solid lines and fold on the dotted line. The animals can be cut to divide the pairs or left a one long piece.

To make the Flip Book, cut on dotted lines to separate the background. Cut the 3 panels on solid lines and lay in order on gray rectangle above. Staple on small gray lines. Cut the animals as 1 long strip, and fold accordion style. Glue or staple the bottom of the monkey end piece to the square so students can ‘have the animals go to the ark.’ See the photo below for the one-page printable. Toddler approved!

Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white.

The first worksheet is designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet.  There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. There is a maze and color by number, and an updated picture review worksheet. The write it out has three pictures with a space to write about each event for Noah. The thought question can be used to introduce the lesson, or at the end for discussion.

The rainbow is the covenant between God and all living on the earth. Genesis 9:16 (paraphrased)

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
