This Old Testament study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for the lesson. Most of these lessons have project printables for younger students that I have been wanting to add for some time.
All of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and most are in black & white.
These are usually used in workbooks. They are really easy, and the kids like them. This printable will add a little something different to use. There are two options, and both are in color and black and white. Cut around the outside to trim off excess border. Then fold on the solid lines and cut on the dotted lines. Lift-the-Flap to write whatever you want them to under each day/number. It can be the verse, what God made, or anything you want them to think about for the lesson. For nonreaders they can add stickers and/or draw what God created each day.
This spinner can be used as you see, with graphics already included, or there is a plain spinner with the numbers for students to draw or add stickers and design their own (not shown).
There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet. The third was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. Most of the worksheet I normally do were done in an earlier post, so they have not been added to this file. I updated the review worksheet and added thought questions. These can be used to introduce the lesson, or as a conversation starter afterwards. There are a couple of color-by-number papers and a dot-to-dot included.
There are two color and black & white backgrounds included for students to draw God's creation or add stickers to discuss everything God made.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1
These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, poster, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
