There are so many ways to use this project!
You do not have to use a paper plate; it just adds some fun. You can use blue or green plates if you have them. This is designed for a 9" standard paper plate. You can cut a 9-10" circle from construction paper and glue the continents on. This photo shows three different kids and how they wanted to make them. They said they enjoyed it (even the older ones).
The other half of the world is glued to the back. They can paint or color the border or draw people around the world. Kid or people stickers can be added if you have them. You can print a completed world (front and back is two pages), or if you are homeschooling or have more time, there is a blank circle and students can cut out the continents and place them where they should be. The verse is included. As you can see, some wanted to glue it to the plate, or you can punch a hole and insert yarn and glue the verse on the yarn to spin around. Color and black & white are included for each option.
This project was designed for Jesus' last words before He returned to heaven but can be used for any appropriate lesson. Click here to see the lesson and printables.
Available Friday.
