Luke Chapter 24 Jesus Returns to Heaven

The Luke chapter study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for an event that is in the chapter.

Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and some are in color and black & white.

This is a paper plate craft, but this can be done without the paper plate. All the continents are included to cut and glue, and a completed one is included. All printables include color and black and white for this project. Click here to see more.

The 3-D scene is super easy to prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too! Color and black & white are both included. The extra cloud makes a lift-the-flap so Jesus can go 'inside' the cloud to return to heaven! Directions are included. Glue some cotton on the cloud for more hands-on fun.

To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. The spinner work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet. The next worksheet was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next is a word search and crossword puzzle. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. There is a Who did it? worksheet with a description for each person. The students will cut out the people and glue them to the correct description. There is a Spot the Differences, two color-by-number worksheets and a maze included.

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark and poster. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
