* There are 2 game options included!

Lapbooks are easy and fun! These are great for homeschool, early arrivers, or whenever you need something extra to do. This was designed to be used for Bible class (great fun for review), homeschool, Mother's Day Out, Bible camp, or any Bible learning situation. These are designed for the student to put together, but they can be assembled and ready to use beforehand!

This lapbook and the games were designed with permission to copy and share by anonymous. I have used the basics to create them with the graphics I am permitted to use according to copyright. So thankful to the people who share their ideas and let me share at Bible Fun For Kids!

Cut and glue the cover and label (small by map) to the front. Open the folder and cut out the tree and glue to the top right side close to the center line. You can draw and color a big tree on the inside if you prefer, and it will look best if you use a green file folder. Then glue the title and questions as shown leaving enough space to lay the correct picture to answer the question under it. The pictures can be glued, Velcroed, or the fun of lapbooks is to be able to reuse them. To use again, glue a library envelope, regular envelope, or use a sandwich baggie to store the answer cards.

Remember to turn the file folder inside out if there is printing inside.

Use a jar, basket, or other container.

Spread the answer cards out on the table where the students can see them.

Ask the questions and have students find the correct answer card. When students answer correctly, they can place the answer card in the jar.

If students are competitive, divide the students into two teams. Give each team a jar.  The team with the most pictures in their jar wins.

To play the Zacchaeus Tree Game:

Print in color or black & white. Cut out game answer cards and Zacchaeus stand-up. Fold in the center and place him on the top where it says, 'start here'. Spread out the game answer cards on the table and students will read the first question and find the correct answer card. When they do so, they move Zacchaeus to that spot on the game board and place the used answer card on the designated place on the game board.
Another option: You can let students shout out the answer (instead of using the game cards), especially for non-readers, and the one who answers first can move their Zacchaeus.
