This background is made from a shower curtain! See more here. I was going to add a hieroglyphics shower curtain on each side but took down a tent and added a different scene, so I was out of room. But I would purchase a preprinted background for this lesson like I used for Tower of Babel which wasn't an option when I was looking. The columns were reused from a previous VBS. I ordered Pharaoh and Joseph on one 6'x6' background to save money. They need to be cut out anyway, so I fit them both on one! Save the image below to use them. The larger they are saved, the better quality they will be.
I showed this coat that I made years ago, and they love the visual!
I asked my grands what their favorite way to review that they remembered, and they all shouted the buzzer game! So, we played it two nights this year. There was a lot of information for Joseph in one lesson, so this was an easy choice.
(Not all are shown.)
They do not have to be used with magnets. You can attach them to craft sticks to hold up. Or just hold them. The corresponding numbered lesson is included.
Our VBS is divided into four classes and crafts is one of them. Emily made these plastic cups, and they added sticky jewels to them. He really liked designing this and wants to keep it on his dresser to hold something. Not sure what! But it will be a good memory. I put plastic bulk disposable glasses in the search bar to find them.
