Luke Chapter 15 Parable of the Lost Sheep

https://www.biblefunforkids.com/2024/06/luke-chapter-15-parable-of-lost-sheep.html

The Luke chapter study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for an event that is in the chapter.

Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and some are in color and black & white.

Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The Flip Book and Spinner work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.

Students can make a sheep and make a paper bag sheep puppet.

For the Lost Sheep, I have a sheep 'hiding' on top of the cabinet. I use a shepherd's crook to walk around looking for the lost sheep and explain what the hook on the end was used for. I 'find' the lost sheep and bring it down and lay it on my shoulders and talk about how happy I am to find the lost sheep. Then the students find a lost sheep I have hidden before class. I find the stuffed lambs here and they don't always have the same ones in stock. Put in stuffed lambs in the search bar.

The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The second was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next is a word search and crossword puzzle. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet. The right-side show dot-to-dot, find the differences, color-by-number and mazes.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. Psalm 23:1

These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.

There are not any visuals by Sweet Publications for this lesson.

I used CC Visuals by Rawderson Rangel @ Free Bible Images to create the Foldable Book, but some of the usual worksheets are not included due not having the Sweet visuals.
