Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and some are in color and black & white.
For the Good Samaritan, I purchased these heart lollipops. If you have time, look in late January and February for heart items to use. I had these glue dots (it is so much cheaper to buy these in bulk) to attach the scripture heart to after the students cut them out. To use glue dots, press the white paper they are on directly onto the surface you want it on. Don't use your finger to transfer. Each student picked a heart verse for: 1. themselves 2. one for each sibling 3. one to give/share with someone. They cut out the hearts and attached it to the lollipop. Chocolate covered hearts will also work for this.
I used this bulletin board for this lesson. It has stayed up for a while and can be referred to when we talk about helping others, being nice, obeying parents, etc. They liked this Love thy Neighbor craft also.
To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line. The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The Flip Book and Spinner work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper.
These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark and poster. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
