The Luke chapter study is designed for older students with some worksheets and printables that correspond for younger students so they can be used in classes with several ages together or used specifically for an event that is in the chapter. The printables are for Luke 2:40-52 when Jesus stayed behind at the temple when He was 12 years old.
Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included and some are in color and black & white.
This 3-D Temple is super easy to prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too! Color and black & white people standups are both included, although the temple is black & white only and will need to be colored. The curtains were blue, purple, and scarlet. To create the 3-D scene, fold the scene in half. Cut on dotted lines. Fold bottom of scene forward on solid line. Fold forward on top line. Fold backward on the inside center line. This can be printed on paper or cardstock. The people will work best if printed on cardstock. Cut the people on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines. Joseph & Mary, Jesus and the teachers are the standups that are included.This is an easy craft to cut the doors open and see Jesus inside the temple with the teachers. This includes color and black & white.
To make the Flip Book, cut on the dotted line to
separate the top from bottom. Cut the bottom pictures out on solid line. Layer
in order and staple as shown on the gray rectangle. Fold the Foldable Book in
half lengthwise, then fold in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line.
The Spinner and Foldable Book are in color and black & white. The Flip Book
and Spinner work best if printed on cardstock or heavier paper. Fold the Foldable Book in half lengthwise, then fold
in page 3, then fold the front cover on the line.
The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The second was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. The next is a chapter word search and crossword puzzle. There is a Reader Worksheet which has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order after reading the summary of the lesson. There is a Who did it? worksheet with a description for each person. The students will cut out the people and glue them to the correct description. There is a number code and alphabet code worksheet.
