Thank you to Jeanne Dickson for permission to copy (as
close as possible with the resources I have available) and share these ideas and printables.
For the gift of gold, Jeanne uses these chocolates. Jeanne says the gold gift contains a special treat for the kids - gold wrapped candies. Jeanne used the Hershey's almond chocolate bars, but you will notice the gold wrapped Rolos in there, too. These work well for all ages!
Jeanne used gold-wrapped candy for the gold. Frankincense and myrrh can be purchased and is great for the touch and smell factors. It lasts forever, so it can be reused as a visual for years. Frankincense like this and this. Myrrh resin like this.
The Newsletter Foldable
can be used as a review handout, sent in the mail or in an email, especially
for those unable to be in class. The same lesson is included for the teacher.
This is the inside with the lesson and pictures. On the outside, Jeanne adds notes and assorted items. She might add a Bible verse, memory verse, a Bible song or two, a picture to color, a reward reminder and/or notes about class and hello to students. You could add a puzzle, maze, worksheet, whatever you prefer.
