Thanks so much to Jeanne Dickson for permission to use these photos and recreate her flipchart!
Start with a table, add wood, cardboard, etc. to enclose the walls and cover with wood bulletin board paper. If you have a box, that will work also. Draw on the door and windows. Add Peter on the roof. Jeanne used the Gigi building blocks for the steps to the roof.
Attach a sheet above the house.
Add your animals in the sheet and it is ready!
This flip chart is a copycat of Jeanne's with a couple of additions. It has space at the top of each page so you can add rings for the flipchart. The pages can be used in any order you prefer.
For student hands-on, I used this simple chart with the same animals that are used on Jeanne's flip chart. I chose one or two from each flip chart page. They can be put through a sticker maker or used as a cut & glue project. Click here to download. You can also use stickers, if you prefer.
The Newsletter Foldable
can be used as a review handout, sent in the mail or in an email, especially
for those unable to be in class. The same lesson is included for the teacher.
This is the inside with the lesson and pictures. On the outside, Jeanne adds notes and assorted items. She might add a Bible verse, memory verse, a Bible song or two, a picture to color, a reward reminder and/or notes about class and hello to students. You could add a puzzle, maze, worksheet, whatever you prefer.
