Acts chapter 9 is divided into the three different events:
Saul Blinded by the Light (Acts 9:1-19)
Saul Left Damascus in a Basket (Acts 9:20-31)
Peter with Aeneas and Tabitha AKA Dorcas (Acts 9:32-43)
Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included.
Most of the worksheets with scripture are paraphrased to fit the worksheet space.
The 3-D Damascus is super easy to
prepare and fun for the kids and can be used as a visual, too! Color and black
& white are both included. To create the 3-D scene, Cut on dotted line along
the city & cobblestone sidewalk. Fold the scene in half. Cut on dotted
lines. Fold bottom of scene forward on solid line. Fold forward on top line.
Fold backward on the inside line. This should be printed on cardstock to work
best. Cut Saul on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines. He can be used
as preaching or leaving Damascus. String, embroidery floss, or thread can be
added to the basket so it can easily be taken down the wall for Saul to escape.
Stars can be added to the sky for more fun.
The 3-D basket can be printed on paper or cardstock. This is color only due to the limited backgrounds available. Add string at the top so the students can take Saul up and down a wall to review the lesson.
These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark and poster. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.
