Bible ABC's: S is for Salt
Lot's Wife Turned into a Pillar of Salt!
This briefly discusses Abraham and Lot moving and Lot's choice of land by Sodom. The main lesson is the angels visiting Sodom and Lot and his family leaving.
These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.
Consider these an update with new ideas and printables!
Kids love Flip Books and Event Spinners, and they are easy to make and use! Color and black & white are included. There is a Venn Chart included (not shown) to use as a discussion starter. For instance, things God wants us to do on can be written on one side, and the consequences on the other.
There is an alphabet picture code and a number code included. The last worksheet is Who did it? There is a description for each person. The students will cut out the people and glue them to the correct description.
These are included in the application pack!
I designed the Trip Strip to be a cut & glue timeline. This one shown has lines for the students to write about each event. Or they can write the scriptures. There is another worksheet without the writing space. These can easily be used for mixed age groups. Cut and glue according to directions.

These Event Cards can be used as smaller visuals and they can be shuffled for the student to re-tell the events and lay them in order. The same full-page size visuals and pictures-to-color can be downloaded below.

So, this is a really old idea but a really good one!
This is a Mrs. Butterworth's container. I (my husband) sawed off the top and I rubbed sandpaper over it to make it tacky. I used 'Pottery Plaster' or Plaster of Paris (find at any craft store or Amazon) and covered her all over. Once it dried, I spread Aleene's Tacky Glue all over and poured on the salt. I used regular salt, but a coarse salt would look better. I suggest plugging the hole on top and finishing it with the plaster to cover.
