ABC's in Acts: W is for Wonders (& Signs)
Stephen Did Wonders and Signs
Stephen Did Wonders and Signs
These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.
Consider these an update with new ideas and printables!
The Flip Book is in color and black & white. Print, cut on solid lines and layer the pages. Staple at the top. If you want students to write facts, they can write on the back of the page that is flipped up. I kept these pages without extra text on purpose.
The maze has the things we are told about Stephen on the path, a word search, Match It worksheet and fill-in-the-blank worksheet are all included. All have answer sheets, except for the maze.
I designed the Trip Strip to be a cut & glue timeline. This one shown has lines for the students to write about each event. Or they can write the scriptures. There is another worksheet without the writing space. These can easily be used for mixed age groups. Cut and glue according to directions. This is not included in the application pack. The information Anchor Charts for this lesson include Anchor Charts for Stephen's speech to the council. Not all are shown.
These Event Cards can be used as smaller visuals and they can be shuffled for the student to re-tell the events and lay them in order. The same full-page size visuals and pictures-to-color can be downloaded below.
There are alphabet mazes and worksheets included. These are half-sheets and can be used in Interactive Notebooks. Click here to see a free video on how to make and use Interactive Notebooks. There is a set of 5- and 10-piece puzzles.

There are two one-page foldable books in color and black and white. One is for Stephen and the other shows the people that he discussed during his speech to the council.

File folder games do not have to be used with a file folder! They are great because everything is self-contained. But you can use an 8x10 envelope and glue the cover on the outside and put the pieces inside. Students can pull everything out, lay out the inside like a game board and use the event cards to make it a 'game. Easy to use and store! Great for early arrivers or if you have extra time to review.
This is a good one because you can review several Old Testament
people and what each person did. You can also attach the pages with the people
to your wall or white board (etc.). And use the event cards to review. They can
be put in a pile and you or the students can pull one out, read it and tell who
did it.
A passport and passport stamps were created to be used with the Paul's Travels lessons.
Stephen is included since this is the first time Saul/Paul is mentioned.
I switch lessons around so Stephen is an introduction to Paul.
