To make the rainbow craft shown above, you will need these colors of construction paper: white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet/purple. Cut a full-page cloud from the white paper as shown. Stack the colors of paper and cut about a one inch long strip. Glue to the back using the ROY G. BIV color sequence. Cotton balls can be glued to the cloud after writing God Keeps His Promises and Genesis 9 (both are optional). Another option is to write things God has given us that we are thankful for on each of the strips.
I created a template that can be used if you prefer. There is a cloud that can be used as a cutting template or to print and add 11x1/2" colored strips to. There is a full page printable included as shown to print and use. It can be cut out or used as-is. There is a black & white to color, too.

This download includes the 'God Makes Rainbows' song and a rainbow with the correct color order. I printed one for each child and they love reaching as high as they can to sing the song! This includes your choice of 2 and 4 per page to print. Click here to download.
