Quail in the Wilderness!

Bible ABC's: Q is for Quail (& manna in Exodus 16) in the Wilderness

These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.

Consider these an update with new ideas and printables!

This quail paper bag puppet is so cute! Thanks to KM Classroom for permission to use the clipart for this project. The color and black & white are included. 

These printables can be used for Moses and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark.

So, this is totally random, but I liked that I could use the two main parts of this lesson! It is a Tic Tac Toe game that is super easy to make and use game board and the manna and quail are the game pieces. This is a one-page printable in color and black & white. The students can be divided into groups and whoever answers a question, can add a team game piece to the board. Depending on time, you can play 1 or best out of 3/5 games can determine the winners.

There is a simple quail to color, a maze  and a trace the quail and color it.

 The first is a Reader Worksheet. The wording from the scripture is as easy to read as possible with sight words while keeping to the key points with easy to answer questions. The second is a fill-in-the-blank worksheet. 

These Event Cards can be used as smaller visuals and they can be shuffled for the student to re-tell the events and lay them in order. The same full-page size visuals and pictures-to-color can be downloaded below.
