Bible ABC's: P is for Plagues
Plagues in Egypt!
These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.
Consider these an update with new ideas and printables!
This 'game' can be used with a file folder, or a large envelope or handed out like a worksheet. It can be used individually or in groups. The picture cards can be used in a Plague Bag.
Another option is to use a bean bag (or whatever) and play like hot potato. Students toss the sack around and when the timer rings, they have to name a plague and/or the number. Or hold up a picture card and they say which plague and/or number it was.
The first worksheet is circle the plagues. Discuss some other things God could have done/sent as plagues. The second worksheet is to number the plagues. These are in color only and have a teacher's answer sheet.
A word scramble, word search and crossword are included. Teacher's answer sheets included, also.
There are a list of 10 plagues bookmarkers. These God is Great printables can be used for the 10 plagues and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. Students can color or paint the designs on the banner, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark. Discuss how great God was to hear the Israelite's prayers and the the great things He did then and does now.
The first is a Reader Worksheet. The wording from the scripture is as easy to read as possible with sight words while keeping to the key points with easy to answer questions. The second is a fill-in-the-blank worksheet. Color and black & white are included for both.
I designed the Trip Strip to be a cut & glue timeline. This one shown has lines for the students to write about each event. Or, they can write the scriptures. There is another worksheet without the writing space. These can easily be used for mixed age groups. Cut and glue according to directions.
