Bible ABC's: N is for Noah
These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.
Consider these an update with new ideas and printables!
This Noah's Ark Shape Book is interactive with different activities to complete the book. The lesson has the basic facts. There is a plain set of pages that you or your students can design. Or retell the events and add stickers to the pages. Print extra blank pages to add extra animals or facts.
This is an Envelope House with Stand-Ups. The outside of the envelope is the outside of the ark. Turn it around and the inside of the ark with 3 levels can be glued or laid on the center back. Noah and the animals will stand up after folding them in half and can be moved around to retell the lesson. This is a super basic ark to show one door and one window at the top (Genesis 6:16) and 3 levels. The students can draw lines to make the rooms after they design the inside (Genesis 6:14). The envelope can be folded up and everything can be tucked inside. The kids love applications like this! This works best if printed on cardstock. Color and black & white are included. Stickers can be used instead of printing the standups and some options can be purchased here or these sheets. Click here to see some on Amazon. There is another Noah stand-up option available:
I added a tiger and giraffe paper bag puppet to make for Noah! Kids love these and they are easy to make and use. Color and black & white are included.
The Graphic Organizer has the facts about the ark with the scriptures to look up and fill in the blanks. For something different, I added this Numbers worksheet. There are so many numbers in this scripture! Students will draw a line from the event box to the correct number.
A more fun way to review and discuss the numbers is this Noah's Ark Numbers 'Game'. The 'number game board' is on the left and the answer cards are on the right (2 per page). Students will lay the answer card on the correct number.
This can be any type of game that you want. This is an option to the above number ideas. These are question cards to discuss the numbers. Students can answer from their seats or standing up. This can be done in teams or by person. Whatever works for you and your students!
The first is a Reader Worksheet. The wording from the scripture is as easy to read as possible with sight words while keeping to the key points with 5 easy to answer questions. The second is a fill-in-the-blank worksheet. A Word Search for Noah is included.
These Noah Anchor Charts are included.

These rainbows can be used as you need to. The top is made to use with Dot Markers, but students can color, paint or add stickers. The bottom can be used to teach the rainbow colors with ROY G. BIV, or it can be just a coloring sheet. These are full size. There is a set of 5- and 10-piece puzzles.
The first picture is a maze for the students to take the animals to the ark. The third picture is a color by number to find the letter 'N'. There are alphabet mazes and worksheets included. These are half-sheets and can be used in Interactive Notebooks. Click here to see a free video on how to make and use Interactive Notebooks.
