Ideas and Activities for Noah's Ark.

Jeanne made this ark with one door and one window. It is about 2 feet deep,
but sits in front of her sand table, which causes it to be much roomier.
Obviously, you can use any animals you have collected, whether they are stuffed, plastic or printed. Gather all you can!
Jeanne spreads them on the table and lets the students match them into pairs. The pairs can then go into the box ark. Cute idea and so much learning. And, they get to get up and move!
One of the sticker ideas Jeanne makes is this ark in the water. the ark has openings to see the animals. Another bonus is the whole top lifts up to add the animal stickers.
This the reproduction of Jeanne's project above. This is the color base and there is another page with the ark to be cut and glued to create the whole ark and open sections for the top lift-the-flap. Yes, this can be used as-is. Just add stickers. Kids love the lift-the-flap papers, though. The black & white pages are included. This black & white ark is also included on a plain page if you prefer to cut & glue onto color paper or print the ark onto color paper. Or the kids can color it. So many options! This can be downloaded in the pack below.
The kids love stickers, so this is another fun and easy paper that Jeanne uses. The animals walk in pairs to the ark. The animals can be purchased here or these sheets.

Here's the rain! This is fun for the students to see in the classroom!
Jeanne has a dove and raven perched in a tree to use during the lesson. Look for the raven in October. I found my doves at Hobby Lobby in the wedding isle, but they are not listed online. You can search Amazon here for fake doves. Or, eBay for fake doves. If you have time, they are more affordable overseas, but require extra shipping time.
Jeanne purchased the rainbow paper pads at Dollar Tree. (Look in the school/teacher's supply isle.) The students can match Skittles (or M&M's or other colored candy) on the rainbow. Great fun activity and a snack.

The Newsletter Foldable
can be used as a review handout, sent in the mail or in an email, especially
for those unable to be in class. The same lesson is included for the teacher.
This is the inside with the lesson and pictures. On the outside, Jeanne adds notes and assorted items. She might add a Bible verse, memory verse, a Bible song or two, a picture to color, a reward reminder and/or notes about class and hello to students. You could add a puzzle, maze, worksheet, whatever you prefer.
