For
this activity, start with a file folder and cut off the uneven edges as shown. Trim the
color or black & white cover page to fit the front of the folder and glue
on the front.
On the inside, cut and glue the garment shape. This can be printed on color paper, or one can be printed and used as a template to cut as many as you need. If desired, you can just draw a garment and let the students color it. Provide embellishments for the students to design the garment like stickers, buttons and rickrack ribbon, etc.
The
plain clothing template can be used without the file folder, if you prefer, as its own dress-up
to design.
