ABC's of Jesus' Life: N is for Neighbor

(Parable of the Good Samaritan)

These lessons can be used without the alphabet theme.

Just consider them an update with new ideas and printables to teach the Life of Jesus!

This is a fun project with two options! The first picture shows the heart cut out with the picture of the Good Samaritan on string or yarn so it twirls in the heart. Students can write or draw on the back whatever you prefer or write a scripture. Add coloring and stickers and they will love it! Tie a loop at the top for them to carry or hang their design up. The second picture is easier to put together using the same finishing touches to complete it.

This can be used for any lesson by not using the Good Samaritan picture. Just cut rectangles the same size to use instead. Add a scripture, draw a picture or add stickers.

There are directions and another page with pictures and directions to help you create this. There is a worksheet in the next photo if that is your preference.

The students can write thing they can do to help their neighbors on each finger of the hand worksheet. The hand maze can be used with the worksheet or without it. The heart maze has the students seeing the parable being told with a picture as they travel through the maze. These mazes have a teacher's answer sheet.
