Just consider them an update with new ideas and printables to teach the Life of Jesus!
List of Disciples can be found @ Matthew 10:2-4 & Luke 6:13-16
For the younger students, or just for fun because I know my second graders will love this! Print the page with the disciple's pictures. There is a page of directions and options to use this craft. Students can add the sun, clouds, water lines, birds, fish, etc. Or supply stickers. My students love stickers so there will be a lot more printables this year to add stickers! This can be used for any lesson they are in a boat. For further review, put Peter and Andrew in the boat with Jesus. Have them draw another boat for James and John on the water.
(cover, disciples 'game board' and fact cards)
This can be a file folder game... or not. I have had requests for more file folder games which I love, and the students love. They can be used for review or early arrivers or time fillers. The great thing is they can be reused, and everything is contained with each file folder. So, I have been/will be adding a lot more file folders this year. Glue on the cover and the disciple's pictures inside. Add an envelope or library pocket to store the fact cards. Students will lay the correct fact card on each disciple. Some will have more than one. The answers are in this extended lesson.
Another option is to use larger envelopes the 'game' board' (the disciple's pictures) can fit in. You can store the fact cards inside and the cover can be glued to the outside for easy reference.
Print everything on cardstock, if possible, especially if you plan to reuse.
These can be self-checking if you write the disciples' number on the back of each fact card.
You can print the disciples game board (disciples' picture page) and fact cards to use as a worksheet or a game (just say "Let's play a game" and it's all fun and learning!) without making it into a file folder game. Students can lay the fact cards on each disciple individually or put the fact cards in a container and pass it around the room. Let them take one and say who it belongs to. Or use it any way you can think of!
I added this name worksheet. Circle the names of the disciples. I used all Bible names to make them think a bit more, so this can be used to talk about Bible people, too! The students will find their way through the maze looking for the disciple's names. I also added The Disciples Walked with Jesus maze and The Disciples Helped Jesus mazes. You can make these conversation starters by having events and scriptures of times the disciples walked with or helped Jesus. These can be used with other lessons, too. There is an answer sheet for the mazes.
A couple of additional posters, too.
These Event Cards are included in color and can be used as smaller visuals and they can be shuffled for the student to re-tell the events and lay them in order. The same full-page size visuals and pictures-to-color can be downloaded below.
There are alphabet mazes and worksheets included. These are half-sheets and can be used in Interactive Notebooks. Click here to see a free video on how to make and use Interactive Notebooks. There is a color-by-number and a set of 5- and 10-piece puzzles.

There is a one-page foldable book in color and black and white.
