Creation, Adam and Eve Overview

https://www.biblefunforkids.com/2020/07/creation-adam-and-eve-overview.html
This is lesson two in a 13-week series that I used in my class. I wanted one quarter to introduce the Old Testament with a basic timeline of the people and events. The students can learn what happened in the Old Testament and how those events lead to Jesus. These lessons are a combination of the Life Overview Series and other lessons. I will show you what I used to blend several posts into 13 lessons. It was basically pick and choose and you can change any to fit your needs or wants. For instance, I always teach Esther so that is one of the lessons. And I picked Daniel as the last lesson. Those can be substituted if you have another.

This lesson teaches God's Creation and Adam & Eve, so it is not in-depth. The lessons blend and tell the Big Picture. Keep in mind these lessons are slightly longer with very different application reviews. All the visuals in this series have had a major update.

I have updated the Days of creation numbers that I used for visuals. I put magnets on the back and added them to my white board as I was teaching. They are also great for bulletin boards and wall visuals. Click here to download the updated days of creation numbers.

There are two new information Anchor Charts for creation included.

This is one of the application papers we used. I printed on cardstock and had them folded and ready for class. The students can add stickers to complete the picture inside. I let my class draw fruit on the tree. What did they think it looked like? What shape? Taste? Color? Something to think about.

Students will draw a line from each picture to the correct number. The rainbow is to add discussion about rain, Noah and God's promise. Noah is the next lesson.

This file contains Creation visuals only for Genesis 1.

(These are the same as the visuals but are black & white.)

Not all are shown. This file contains visuals for the Garden in Genesis 3.

I also used this Bible Timeline File Folder Game. I made the pictures into stickers (which they love!) and the students added to it each week. Even though we studied Jesus and Acts after this quarter, rather than removing any pictures, I printed those pictures already on the page along with a couple that we wouldn't have as its own lesson.

Click here if you want to print the one, I used with some of the pictures already in place. This includes the completed teacher's visual also.

The original file has a teacher's visual completed. and a student file folder without any pictures on the timeline. All pictures will need to be cut and glued or made into stickers to use.
