Abraham's Life

Abraham is a long lesson and can be divided into two lessons. Here is what is studied: God’s promise to Abram, birth of Ismael and Isaac, the angels visit, Abraham tries to save Sodom & Gomorrah, the sacrifice and the cave he purchases as a burial place. Abraham is found in Genesis 11-25.

This is an Abraham's Life Sequencing Timeline. There is a completed one (right) for a teacher's visual, if you are keeping a notebook and just want it as a chart, or you do not like the cut and glue. If the students only put glue above the dotted line, they will have a lift-the-flap with the information under each photo.

There is a poster with the people that were in the cave that Abraham purchased with Sarah. Students can fill in the worksheet if this is something you want to discuss. The other worksheet is a favorite and so easy. You just need lots and lots of stars. I give the students stickers, but you can purchase star stampers and ink stamp pads to use. Students can color or paint the sky background or print on blue paper.

This poster is in the lesson and application pack. It can be used with several lessons and includes a worksheet. This would be a good addition to a notebook if the students are making one.
