This lesson can be used as an introduction or closing for the
People in the Bible Series. Or, it can be used a general lesson by itself. This
was actually a sermon by Tim Alsup and was preached while I was working on this
series. Tim has given permission to use his outline and make any changes to
adapt for students.
The following posters, worksheets and more are in the lesson and application pack.
The following posters, worksheets and more are in the lesson and application pack.
These posters help explain the concepts this lesson is teaching.
One option for review is this flipbook. The students will cut and glue the people and they can write any facts or comments that you want on the blank lines.
This is what the completed flipbook looks like. There is a flipbook with the pictures already in place if you do not want to use the cut & glue page. This is also for the teacher to use and show the correct completed pages.
The other option is a cut and glue worksheet. There is a completed paper for notebooks and teacher's visual that shows the correct placement of the people.
This lesson can be divided into more lessons if you want to discuss each time frame and the people that are included more in-depth. For instance, creation, the judges and the kings are mentioned, but are not discussed more than that.

This is an assortment of Books of the Bible puzzles. These can be used to put the events with the correct book. They can be used just to get the students used to the Old Testament and New Testament books and how to spell them. Teacher's answer sheets are included for all.

Although the posters that were designed for this lesson are all included in the above lesson and application pack, these visuals are available if you would like to discuss the people in more detail.
