I added the owls study with forest and woods animals even though they live in many different habitats. This is discussed in the photo posters.
This is part of our preschool learning we did at home. It includes ideas that can be used at home to learn about the animals God created. *This is intended for home use or preschool (or kindergarten) classes. They are not intended for Bible class.*We began our study about owls with these information posters I created. They are two to a page to save printing. They have a real photo and information text easy for preschoolers to understand and hold their interest. Click here to download the posters.

I found these adorable owl masks at Michaels. They loved painting and playing with them!
I purchased the stuffed owl here.
The Owl Masks are in color and black and white and are as shown.
To use these, they can be attached to a large craft stick, paint stirrer stick or yarn or string on the sides to tie around the head.

I found the black owls on the left at Dollar Tree in October. The eyes light up, which they loved and they are cheap enough to buy one for everybody!
I created this Color Match Bird set. One sheet has birds and eggs and the other set has owls. You can use one or both pages and there are several ways to use this. There are directions on the last page of the download. This is in color only and will work best if printed on cardstock. Click here to download.
I made these posters two per page to save ink. These are real photos of the animals that live in the forest and woods. I tried to find full body photos of each animal in their natural habitat. These are in color only. Click here to download.
We looked at these books from the library. This means this is what our library had available. If there is not a link, then it was not on Amazon at the time of posting. I suggest looking at your library to see what is available for free and if you love any of the books, then purchase them. Most of these are not really for preschoolers.
They loved Night Owl and Home Sweet Home (not pictured and is a lift-the-flap book)
