This is night 2 of our Moses VBS. Haley and Glenda teach one of the preschool classes and this is their decorations and craft ideas. I also included the craft that the other children created for this lesson.
Thanks to Haley Wilson for sharing her photos and ideas! Haley teaches with Glenda Wilson. And Glenda creates most of the ideas that Haley uses. Haley tells Glenda we need this or that and Glenda creates it! Thanks to both for permitting me to share!
This is a close-up of Moses and the burning bush that is in the first picture.
On the far right, you can see the flock of sheep.
They also put a tent for Moses and they would be exciting to learn about Moses in the tent!
Haley and Glenda created centers and kept the smaller children in their class instead of rotating. They did two crafts for this lesson.
They made sheep headbands and although you can't see the sheep good, you can see how much they love headbands and crowns! Let them glue cotton balls and wiggle eyes on and they are so happy! I save the cotton from medicine bottles just for this craft. Click here to download your choice of sheep headbands as seen in the second photo. I left them plain (no writing) so they can be used with other lessons.
The background was preprinted. After coloring, the children glued the precut flames onto their burning bush.
I created this replica from the worksheet they designed and the graphics that I can use to share. The download includes the color like you see above and the black & white. It can be colored or painted. I suggest using a sticker maker to make the flames stickers or they can be glued. Click here to download the backgrounds.
These Burning Bush backpacks were the craft for the night for the other students.
I do not know who was in charge of the crafts (sorry). They had a lot of fun
painting the burning bush on them!
