I ordered the Sago Palm Tree. I looked for a palm tree that looked the most like the ones I could find native to Egypt. This basically how it will look in the classroom for VBS. I wanted it to appear taller, so I put it on a small outdoor table I had. It folds flat so it was easy to take to the building.
I cut the length of the Desert Sand bulletin board paper I needed to go from one wall to the other so it would cover the front of the table and crate. I cut the sky off and stapled each end to the wall. I used green felt around the basket for cover and to look like grass. You can see this and more Thursday when Moses is Saved in a Basket. This continues the background for Moses and adds a nice pop for Egypt.
