This week is the final lesson in the preschool Life of Jesus series.
Jesus tells His last instructions and returns to heaven.
Jesus did
so many great things! The people loved Him, but some people didn’t believe that
He was God’s Son. They put Jesus on a cross to die. That was very sad. Then
they buried Jesus in a tomb. Jesus was in the tomb for 3 days, but He came back
to life just like He told His Disciples He would! They were very happy!
40 days after Jesus had died and arose from the grave, His Disciples went
to Galilee to the mountain where Jesus told them to go.Jesus told His disciples to tell others about Him. Jesus said to do all the things that He has told the disciples to do. Jesus also said that He would always be with them. Jesus wants us to tell others about Him and the Bible. He wants us to obey God. Jesus also said that He would always be with us. Even though we can’t see Him, He is in heaven with God watching over us.
The disciples kept staring up into heaven where Jesus had gone! There were two men in white clothes standing beside the Disciples. The two men asked them "Why are you staring at heaven where Jesus went? Someday, Jesus will return the same way that He left."
And they went to Jerusalem worshipping and praising Jesus.
I used this project that I always use! They just love it so much! I have them all ready and they glue the clouds on the cup. Click here to see more and to download.

Your preschool lessons are always exactly what I was looking for. This one was perfect for a combined class of a 5 1/2 year old and 3 year old. The craft was easy for them (and me!) to do and a perfect "take home." Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteI used your Bible Lesson about Jesus having breakfast with his disciples and his Return to Heaven along with the Great Commission with my Grades 3-5 Sunday School class. My kids loved it.
ReplyDeleteYour printables are very nice. Thank you so much for sharing.
Such a simple word that holds so much: Go. It's so easily breezed over, but if we believe He means every word in that Bible, there is nothing we can overlook. He wants us to Go. Simply. Go to the people. Go to the world. Go to our neighbor. Meet them where they are at and bring His love!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful lesson! Thank you so much for sharing it at #MomentsofHope!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and smiles,
Lori
I recently wrote a piece about the ascension on my blog. I love the idea that Jesus went up, but, even so, He is right here with me all the time.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, thank you for sharing these incredible resources with us. Blessings!
