Jesus' Baptism & Temptation Preschool Projects

I am creating projects for the 3 year old class on Wednesday nights this quarter, and I thought I would share what we did. These projects include Jesus was baptized and Jesus was tempted.

This is an updated project from the post below. There are a couple of different ideas to make this and they are included in the download. This only has the black & white. Jesus and John have flaps that fold back so they stand up. I made the water a pocket to hold the parts and John & Jesus can go into the water, but that is optional to save paper and time. Click here to download.

You can find more ideas and printables for John baptizing Jesus here.

This can be used before the lesson to lead into the temptations of Jesus, or after to reinforce the lesson. These can be used for a lot of different lessons and age groups, but I decided to use them for the Temptation of Jesus. The directions are included in the download, but ask questions and let the students hold up the correct face. Preschoolers have fun just trying to pick the correct face! Really, they had so much fun with this! Click here to download.

To review the Temptations of Jesus, I wanted to talk about different temptations that they face. If you use the above for an opener before the lesson, this works great for an application after the lesson. This mini book, which they love, is quick & easy to prepare and the color and the black & white are both included. Click here to download.
