This week is lesson number 9 for the David series. King Saul and his son Jonathan is killed.
David is also made king.
Cathy uses these visuals with a magnetic board.
She cuts the pieces out, numbers them on the back (these already have the numbers on the front), laminates them and adds thin
magnets on the back. Put your title up first (King Saul & Philistines for this
lesson), then add and take away each visual as you teach the lesson. Some of
the visuals are the same as what you will see each week during the David series, if you'd like to
combine them. You won't have to print all of those, unless you
like to keep everything in its own pack. They can also be used as visuals
alone, a flip chart, and/or a bulletin board. These can also be attached to large
craft sticks and held up while you are teaching.
I wrote this lesson using the outline that Cathy uses for the set of Magnetic Board Visuals. The numbers in the lesson download correspond with the numbers on the visuals. The lesson can also be used without the visuals. Click here to download.
These printables were also created for this lesson, but they can be used for so many lessons that I put them in their own post! You can see them here.
Family has been one of her crowning joys
in life. Married to Gerry for over 47 years they have had many years of
adventure and love. Her children and grandchildren have kept her busy and
happy. Everywhere Cathy has lived from Ohio, Illinois, Texas, Georgia,
Tennessee and more she has made dear friends who she considers family.
Cathy has had the opportunity to
participate in mission work for many years. She has had the privilege of
speaking at Ladies Days, teaching Vacation Bible Schools, and conducting
workshops in Jamaica, Scotland, New Zealand, and here in the United States.
Cathy has been involved in teaching for
over 50 years, from nursery to adults. Cathy feels that Christian Education is
one of the greatest mission efforts we can be involved in, and the benefits are
eternal.
I love these printables/magnetic board ideas that you are sharing! Thank you for being so generous.
