This lesson about David being chosen by God as the next king is #4 in our study of David.
The lesson can be found in 1 Samuel 16.
The lesson can be found in 1 Samuel 16.
This lesson did not come with a set of
Magnetic Board visuals, but since almost every other lesson for David has
these, I added this download so there will be a complete set for
David. Cathy uses these visuals with a magnetic board. She cuts the pieces out,
numbers them on the back (these are already numbered on the front), laminates
them and adds thin magnets on the back. Put your title up first (Samuel) for
this lesson), then add and take away each visual as you teach the lesson. Some
of the visuals are the same as what was available last week, if you'd
like to combine them. You won't have to print all of those,
unless you like to keep everything in its own pack. They can also be used as
visuals alone, a flip chart, and/or a bulletin board. They can also be attached
to large craft stick to hold up while teaching. Click here to download the visuals.
Cathy used a flip chart with pictures for this lesson, so I
also added this set of visuals.

Cathy
uses these puzzles for review. You can enlarge the black and white one onto
poster board so you have a super size one. For this visual, cut on the lines on
the body and also around the head so you have the 5 parts. Add magnets to use
on a magnetic board, or lay them on the floor. They can be handed out to
students to create the puzzle and they can tell you the Bible facts they
remember. Also, these can be printed as they are for the students to cut an put
together for review. Color and black & white is included. Click here to download the puzzle.
