This is a lesson that discusses the Garden of Eden with Adam & Eve. There is a puzzle that also has the black & white so it can be a coloring page for the students. I have also added the Magnetic Board Visuals for this lesson.
This can be used as a handout for each students also. There is a color
visual that can be used for a visual. There is also a plain black & white
for the students that can be used as a picture to color. The student can put their
puzzle together as you discuss the lesson.
It can also be used as a template to enlarge and trace onto a piece of
poster board to be used as a visual. You can put the pieces together as you
teach the lesson. As Cathy taught this lesson, she had the puzzle drawn and
printed on a large poster board. She added a piece, starting at the bottom. I
have included the basic puzzle shape in case you have a large outside visual
you would like to cut and glue to the house shape, instead of drawing the
graphics I have included. (That is what Cathy used for her teacher's puzzle
visual) There are different ideas mentioned in the download for using this
printable. Click here to download. (This is an updated version.)
Cathy Whitacre is a Christian, wife,
mother, Nana, sister, and friend. Cathy and her husband Gerry worship with the
New Hope church of Christ, in Bradyville, Tennessee.
This set has two posters for Creation that can be used with any Creation lesson. Cathy didn't have a magnetic board set with this lesson since she used the puzzle visual. But, I decided to add a set since most of the other lessons have these visuals. Cathy uses
these visuals with a magnetic board. She cuts the pieces out, numbers them on
the back (this set is already numbered), laminates them and adds thin magnets on the back. Put your title up
first, then add and take away each visual as you teach the lesson. They can
also be used as visuals alone, a flip chart, and/or a bulletin board. Click here to download the visuals.
You see more ideas for Adam & Eve here.
The lesson includes the numbers to match the above visuals. Click here to download.
Family has been one of her crowning joys
in life. Married to Gerry for over 47 years they have had many years of
adventure and love. Her children and grandchildren have kept her busy and
happy. Everywhere Cathy has lived from Ohio, Illinois, Texas, Georgia,
Tennessee and more she has made dear friends who she considers family.
Cathy has had the opportunity to
participate in mission work for many years. She has had the privilege of
speaking at Ladies Days, teaching Vacation Bible Schools, and conducting
workshops in Jamaica, Scotland, New Zealand, and here in the United States.
Cathy has been involved in teaching for
over 50 years, from nursery to adults. Cathy feels that Christian Education is
one of the greatest mission efforts we can be involved in, and the benefits are
eternal.
Thank you Debbie for sharing Cathy's work with us at Good Morning Mondays. Blessigns
