Preschool at home ideas and printables!
This week we talked about Y is for You and how much Jesus loves
You!
This week is a condensed version of the life of Jesus and about Him leaving heaven and
being born to Joseph & Mary in a manger. Jesus was baptized by John. Satan tempted Him, but Jesus told Satan NO! Jesus was perfect and He died
on the cross and lived again. He went to heaven to be with God, His Father. The review cards in the download key in on these parts of Jesus' life. You can print the mini book here:
There were several ways I could think of to use this wheel, and I really couldn't decide. So, we used it two different ways. Because of this reason, the top of the wheel is plain for you to add what you'd like. I used the Jesus graphic that is included, and I added a photo of each person.
We talked about God made emotions and how we feel. But, also, how do others feel when we treat them different ways and does God like it if we (fill in the blank)? But, then I wanted them to think about Jesus and His life here. How did He feel to be born here, be baptized, etc.
Like I mentioned before, the top of the Wheel of Emotions is plain, so can be used for whatever works for you. The emotion faces are on a different page, because they are cut & paste. Unless, you print the black & white, then this is a cut, color & paste project. I used a brad to connect the top and bottom pieces together. You can print your choice here:
We sang this really cute, really short song about God Loves You! I glued smileys on large craft sticks, because that is how they like them, and we all held one while we sang it. I am not positive of the original writer, but I could not find it online. I suggest printing it on yellow cardstock.

The maze for this week is to take the kids to see Jesus. She really loves mazes! There are always other printables in the alphabet packs which includes several pages like Y is for Yarn, etc. and not necessarily from the Bible. There are always retelling cards to print and let them tell you what they learned about the Bible. And, there are always one or two pictures to color of the Bible facts for each letter.
We used the Birth of Jesus FFG as part of the review for the Life of Jesus.
