This lapbook for Genesis is similar to the Life of Jesus book. You can see it here.
*Sorry, this is an old post and the downloads are single downloads. *
I print a cut & paste picture that is for each lesson. On the back side of the previous lesson, which is the left side in the book, I glue the lapbook parts. So, for the lesson, the lapbook printables are on the left and a cut & glue picture is on the right. I also used very simple, basic lapbook printables to make it easier for me to cut and assemble, and they are easier for the students to use.You could use the lapbook printables (some or all and others you find) and just make a lapbook with a file folder like the photo of Life of Paul lapbook. You can find it here.
Also, you will notice is some of the photos, the printable is for a 3 flap, but I cut one of the flaps off and used it as a 2 and 1 flap. You can do that with a 2 flap also if you want to fit it onto the sides of a file folder.
You can print the cover here.
The photos show the lapbook printables on the left and the cut & glue worksheet on the right. Here are the lapbook links and click on the underlined words with each lesson listed:
12. Joseph in Prison and Pharaoh’s Dream
one two three four
13. Joseph Reunited With His Family one two three
Here are the cut & glue student worksheets. They would be great by themselves for your lesson project if you do not want to the lapbook printables. Some show 2 photos because they are lift-the-flap style and you can see the top when it is finished and what is under the flap.one two three four
13. Joseph Reunited With His Family one two three
8. Jacob and Esau
12. Joseph in Prison and Pharaoh’s Dream
Butler & Baker with Joseph in Prison
Added later are the lapbook printables (right) for the butler and baker while Joseph was in prison. There is one for the butler, one for the baker and one for Joseph with them. I also added a worksheet (left) for the butler and baker. Click here to download.
13. Joseph Reunited With His Family

ReplyDeleteGod has blessed me greatly by showing me your BlogSpot. So many wonderful resources for our Preschool and Early Elementary classes. We are starting Genesis in October and this lapbook will be a wonderful class resource and a fantastic take-home for the kids at the end of our study in Genesis. I have shared your site with all my teachers. I even glowingly told my work friends and insisted that she share the access to your blog with her Bible class teachers. Thank you for all your hard work and for sharing! May God continue to bless you.

ReplyDeleteI appreciate so much your willingness to freely share your work! For people like me that aren't so talented, you help us to still have wonderful visuals and teaching aids. I'm sure many little lives have been positively impacted by what you do! Thanks again and please keep up the good work!!
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate you keeping these great Christian lapbooks up for us to use in our homes and churches. When the children get to do something and see something in chronological order, it helps them remember! Also, the parents really appreciate their child bringing quality work home, thanks to you. God Bless you! Your work inspires so many people and helps us remember Biblical timelines.
ReplyDeleteThank you! You might like next year's printables then because Friday's will be Life Overview of people with timelines and more. Great for making notebooks or lapbooks.
DeleteThe google docs links come up blank. That would be the pages for #3 and 7.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know! They have been corrected.
DeleteHi. I have been using your resources in my Kid's Bible Quizzing classes. We are currently studying Genesis and are learning about Joseph. We are doing a Life of Joseph lap book, and I was looking for something on the cupbearer and baker. I can't find anything on your site for that portion of the story. Do you have anything posted?
ReplyDeleteHello Samantha, you can find the newest @ https://www.biblefunforkids.com/2019/09/life-of-joseph-series-4-joseph-with.html Here is another @ https://www.biblefunforkids.com/2013/08/genesis-joseph-in-prison-pharaohs-dreams.html Let me know if you are looking for something specific and I can try to make it.
DeleteHi, Debbie. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! What I am looking for is a printable on the cupbearer and baker (or 1 on each of them separately) that the kids can cut out for their lap books. You have a lot of great visuals and pictures at these 2 sites, but I don't see any lap book printables. Blessings!
DeleteSamantha, so sorry, I didn't have time to work on this yesterday. You can download a set @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gq919T4sapedEdpTfCBI0rKsS3YMOih1/view?usp=sharing. Let me know if you need anything else.
DeleteThose are perfect, Debbie. Thank you so much!
DeleteI love this, but cannot get the links to work for the Creation 1 of who made everything, the Cain and Able pages where it says both pictures and the Issac and Rebecca pages. anyway you can send those to me or provide another link? thank you so much in advance.

I thought it would be easier for you if I put them in different replies. They are working from this end, so sorry, I don't know why they are not working for you. Here are the Isaac & Rebekah links. The first @ https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3uNEVAAKowpTldOZW1mRnMxWFU/edit
Deletethe second @ https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3uNEVAAKowpdnlmYXRuRVRSNWc/edit
Thank you but these are not going to what I needed, maybe I was confusing, under the cut and glue worksheets the 2 pages for 3.Cain and Abel will not open up, I get a blank page and also 7. Isaac & Rebekah (Right page). I appreciate you posting the others, but I am sure I confused you. So sorry about that. I love your stuff!
ReplyDeleteOoops, so sorry! I did misunderstand. So here is Cain & Abel @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3uNEVAAKowpU3BSWDd1MHpPems/view?usp=sharing

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all your hard work! Your lessons are amazing! I was downloading the cut & glue pages and #3 and #7 are coming up blank. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks for the help!
