King Josiah is lesson 6 in our through the Bible lesson series for preschoolers.
This is a fun lesson about doing what God wants.
Then King Josiah stood by a pillar and made a promise to God. King Josiah said he would follow the Lord and keep His commandments and God's laws with his whole heart. All the people agreed to follow God’s Book of the Law!
The Bible tells us that King Josiah loved God
with all his heart and stayed faithful to Him.
The lesson is found in 2 Kings 22-23.
I found this really cute idea here for this style book. So, I wanted to use it for a preschool Bible lesson. They loved using King Josiah on a string. As you review the lesson, they can place Josiah on top of each page. There is a happy and sad Josiah. If you glue the front cover leaving the top open, it creates a pocket to store King Josiah in. The color and black & white are both included. Click here to download.
I decided to create crowns for the king and queen lessons in this series. I kept them simple for preschool and because I will let them attach gems to them. They include color and black & white. Click here to download King Josiah.
